Okay so after taking care of business, I headed back to the interstate. Where I was getting on, there were basically three lanes for the on ramp. One from the east bound traffic and two from the west bound, separated by a concrete median strip, with the two left lanes (from west bound traffic) merging together and then the two sides merging before meeting alongside the interstate for merging there. Whew! Anyway, this a-hole behind me cuts across the strip and guns it so that he can cut me off and beat me to getting onto the interstate. A few minutes later I managed to pass by him and leave him behind like the loser he is. What I want to know is, what was the point of all that? He was in some sort of a hurry to end up behind me in the end so what was he hoping to accomplish? If he wanted to feel like a hotshot for a minute only to look like a donkeys rear afterward, then he managed to do that perfectly.

Now don't get me wrong, I know I'm not a perfect driver by any means, but there are things that people do that just makes no sense to me and I seriously would love to understand it.

On to an honorable mention here. This self important person showed some mental progress. I was going to a store to grab a few things to eat and what should I see but a car in the fire lane almost right in front of the doorway. They had their hazards on and were in the drivers seat, so I presume they were waiting for someone to come out of the store. So I pulled up behind them to act like I'm stupid (as though I didn't get the hint from their blinkers) and a moment later, they started moving! They actually moved out of the way and I'm guessing they came up with the brilliant idea (albeit obscenely obvious concept) of idling somewhere that is OUT OF THE WAY until the person they are waiting for comes out of the store. Nah, really? You mean that waiting off to the side so you're not being a rude ass is actually a good idea?!? WOW!

When I'm being a taxi for someone and I don't want to go into the store with them, I try to stay close but out of the way. I'll idle in multiple spaces away from other cars if necessary but if possible I'll idle in a reserved spot of some sort (ready to pull out if necessary). I don't interrupt the flow of traffic and can't understand why others do it.

At any rate, after the first day of the first snow of the season, around here it usually becomes safe to drive in the mess because those who are still driving in it have learned the need for caution and those who haven't driven in it yet are usually those who know better than to go out during the first day unless necessary. If only I could have a super HD camera and be somewhere that a lot of accidents happen, be funny to record it and then when they are saying that they were driving cautiously, to play it back and be like, "Um, does that really look like you were driving safely? I swear it looks like you were flying down the road and then tried to slam on your brakes, only to skid around and plow into those cars.."

4 Wis. women accused in lovers' quadrangle plot

WAUSAU, Wis. — A married eastern Wisconsin man thought he was going to a motel for a little romance with one of his handful of lovers. She allegedly played along and suggested he be tied up and blindfolded for a massage, according to court documents.

 

But four women eventually showed up to humiliate the man, who ended up with his penis glued to his stomach in a bizarre plot to punish him for a lover's quadrangle gone bad, according to the documents filed in Calumet County.

 

Now it's the women, including the man's wife, who face punishment — perhaps six years in prison — and at least one said Monday the story has gotten twisted and she's embarrassed.

 

"I am disturbed. I am upset. I am having a hard time handling life; an emotional wreck," Wendy Sewell, 43, of Kaukauna, said Monday in a telephone interview from her home. "I am ashamed."

 

Sewell, Therese Ziemann, 48, of Menasha, Michelle Belliveau, 43, of Neenah, and the man's wife are charged with being party to false imprisonment, a felony. Ziemann also is charged with fourth-degree sexual assault.

 

The women are free on $200 cash bails. Investigators say all the women but Belliveau were romantically involved with the man. Online court records didn't list defense attorneys for any of the women Monday.

 

The Associated Press is not naming the man's wife to protect his identity as an alleged victim of sexual assault.

 

The women's plot for revenge unfolded last Thursday at the Lakeview Motel about 30 miles southwest of Green Bay in the tiny village of Stockbridge near the scenic shores of Lake Winnebago.

 

Criminal complaints filed Friday allege the man agreed to be bound with "sheer sheets" and blindfolded with a pillowcase for a "rub down" by Ziemann. She instead cut off his underwear with a scissors and summoned the others to the room with a text message.

 

Ziemann struck the man in the face, and used Krazy Glue to attach his penis to his stomach when the other women arrived, according to the complaints. The man told investigators he also was threatened with a gun. Ziemann told investigators she didn't have a gun but may have told the victim, "Do you know how much I want to shoot you?"

 

He started screaming and the women rushed off fearful that he could get loose and hurt them but allegedly took his wallet, vehicle and cell phone.

 

Ziemann told investigators she met the man online through Craigslist, fell in love and paid for his use of a room at the motel for the past two months. She said she gave him about $3,000. Then last Wednesday, she learned from the man's wife that he was married and had other girlfriends "using them for money." She expected the money to be repaid, according to the documents.

 

During Thursday's confrontation with the man, Ziemann told investigators Sewell asked him, "Which one do you love more?" and the man's wife made a derisive remark about him being scared.

 

The man got free from the bed by chewing through one of his bindings, went outside and borrowed a telephone from the motel owner to call police.

 

Ziemann and Belliveau are sisters and Belliveau didn't do anything wrong, Sewell said Monday. "She was just there for moral support. She wasn't even dating the guy. She stood at the door the whole time and didn't participate or nothing."

 

Ziemann's husband answered the telephone at their home and declined comment. There was no telephone listing for Belliveau.

 

The man had no telephone listing in Fond du Lac.

I mean really, what is the point of using such a young kid for their in-store advertising? I agree that it's not a perfect solution to use an adult woman (even just barely 18) to sell based on her sex appeal, but at least they are grown women and not offering up the idea of looking at little children.

Mom who urged daughter to fight gets 1 year

Video recorded woman boarding school bus to encourage 10-year-old

TAMPA, Fla. - A mother who was videotaped boarding a school bus and urging her daughter to fight another girl was sentenced Thursday to nearly a year in jail.

 

Shayla Muldrow, 26, was convicted Tuesday of contributing to the delinquency of a minor and trespassing.

 

The March 2 fight gained national attention because a surveillance camera on the bus recorded Muldrow climbing aboard, finding a girl who had allegedly slapped her 10-year-old daughter two days earlier, and then instructing her daughter to “handle it.” Muldrow held her daughter’s backpack as the two girls fought on the bus.

 

Muldrow didn’t react when County Judge John Conrad sentenced her.

 

Conrad said he struggled with the decision because Muldrow was a single mother of three, but he said he also wondered if she had thought of the ramifications of encouraging her daughter to fight.

 

Prosecutors asked for two years for Muldrow, who has several previous criminal convictions. Her defense attorney requested only probation.

It's one thing to encourage your kid to stand up for his/herself if other things aren't working (ie, talking to the parents, school office, etc), so that your kid won't become a bully-magnet. But to encourage them to instigate a fight days AFTER it happened?!? OMGosh that woman should have her kids taken away from her!
