  1. Nah, girls that age might be like "we don't want one, boys are icky". Keep in mind the age.
  2. Ok that's less than 90minutes, which means your room wasn't a mess to begin with. Which in turn means that you didn't really need to clean your room. The fact that you said it's fun.. Means that you're one disturbed child.
  3. That is NOT fun. A sesspool of clothing on the floor, with stuff just barely hanging onto shelves, on the other hand.. Where the slightest vibration can and likely will cause it all to start spilling onto the floor.. Where everything is staying in place by some sheer defiance of logic and gravity.. THAT is fun. That reminds me.. The next tornado that comes through, I need to open the windows.. Clean my room up some.
  4. Nah, then they'd be like "You have a girlfriend you have a girlfriend... eewwwwww" at her. Either poke fun at the mom, or maybe sing that "kissing in a tree" song, using both of their names.
  5. You should look at them and be like, "Why yes I do! Speaking of boyfriends, who's your mom dating this week?" That should shut them up. If nothing else, it'll confuse them.
  6. Looks nice. Just too bad it's 455x81 and not 468x60 (the standard banner size).
  7. Source: http://www.kltv.com/Global/story.asp?S=4935254 I've seen the video clip of what happened after she finally stopped (at her house), and the way she was treated was just completely outrageous. Officer didn't even listen to what she had to say about why she didn't stop or anything. Technically, the officer may have been in the right in following procedures for making an arrest, but realistically, he was just being power hungry. Just wait until one of his relatives get attacked by a fake cop and it's being said that they should have done what that lady did, he'll feel like a heel for treating her like shit.
  8. Only if they fit the rules here.
  9. She should also see to it that if she has to appear in court, she gets paid compensation by the company for her time. After all, she was at work and on duty when it happened, so for her to appear to help put the criminals away on the companies behalf, she should be paid for it. All the more reason to consult a lawyer, because it'd be interesting if the company refused to pay up and it ended up in court, on the news. More bad P.R.
  10. In some states, the employment contract that you sign includes clauses where the employer can terminate someones employment at any time for any reason. Of course, the loophole to that is if you can prove that the reason for being terminated was unlawful. If a boss wants his secretary to have sexual relations with him, then fires her when she says no, then that's illegal. If he just decides that he doesn't want her working for him anymore, for any reason, even no reason at all, then it's legal. I do hope she consults with an attorney, because if she was following orders (her direct supervisors orders), then she was doing her job and the reason for her termination is a lie, thus, wrongful termination.
  11. That $50 limit is indeed quit stupid. If the register was filled with freshly opened coins, that's $17.50 right there, leaving a maximum of $32.50 ($32) in bills. I don't know of any normal customer that wants to end up with $5 worth of coins as change. Normal excludes those who need/want the coins for various reasons, such as playing arcade games or something else that uses coins. I hope that the more people find out about it, the more they'll avoid that company like the plague. Maybe the loss of business will get those Big Cheeses http://www.n-raged.com/forums/public/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif to open their eyes.
  12. I'm not lazy, I just feel that I shouldn't have to do anything because everything should be automatically done for me. At the push of a button? OMG, are you nuts? Why should I have to push a button to get what I want? http://www.n-raged.com/forums/public/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif
  13. So what do you think should happen to Michael Vick? Perhaps put him into a ring with others guilty of the same crimes and let them fight it out, using the same standards as for the dogs? Where they fight nearly to the death? Perhaps let them fight against dogs. What if he continues to do it? How are you going to stop him? Eventually, no matter how hard you try, if he really wants to do it, he'll find a way to do it. On the flip side of things, how do you know that the dogs aren't enjoying the thrill of fighting?
  14. Not really... Someone blurts out the wrong answer.. "Very good Jossi. You've not only demonstrated how it's rude to just shout out an answer, but you've also let the rest of the class know how much more attention you need to pay in class." Someone blurts out the right answer.. "That's incorrect Jimmy. (picks someone who has their hand raised and they give the exact same answer) Very good Janet, that is correct. (Jimmy points out that he gave the exact same answer) I didn't say that your answer was incorrect, I was telling you that it was incorrect of you to shout out the answer like that. Speaking of which, if you do it again, I'll send you to the office." A few times of that and all the students will learn how to show respect. Those that refuse to learn would end up in detention and start building up a history of social problems.
  15. Define aggressive. If you mean hostile, then if he starts shouting out threats or profanities, call the cops and he'll quickly realize that he crossed the line. If he assaults someone for it, then that's jail time buddy. So he'll blow it off, take it in stride, or lose his temper and learn that he can be controlled by those that he looks down his nose at.
  16. Find someone who would be willing to say something in front of him, like "Your yard looks so nice (insert some b.s. reason here that sounds legit)." and then when he approaches and invites them to look at his yard, some reason to put it down. If it looks all beautiful and stuff, be like "it looks too busy, too much there, I don't like it" or if it's not as well kept as he thinks, use that against him. I'm sure a comment or two that make him feel like he hasn't impressed people will rattle his nerves some.
  17. Blame the teachers for that. This is why you blame the teachers. If they knew that they'd get in trouble even if the answer is right, then they'd stop. Would be even more of an impact if they'd get made to look stupid if they shout out the wrong answer. Because then it's like "Ok wrong answer you get made an example of, right answer and you get disciplined for being rude". No reward and the behavior would change. No, that's called balance. Idiots think that they need to be daredevils, show offs and "godfathers" to make up for those who are not quite as outgoing.
  18. Ok that's pretty stupid. That's like not giving someone the full product they paid for on purpose just to lower the buyers expectations. Sorry but I paid for that steak, I want the entire steak, not just the packaging it comes in.
  19. There's no telling if they use that same set up. I know what you are talking about, and if it is the same type of system, then they can only get change every so often and only for up to certain amounts. That mentioned, all it would take is a small rush of people flowing through, all with $10's and $20's, and there'd be a problem. Would they have fired her if they just had a mad rush of people, and then just as the last customer (in a long line) had finished paying, someone came in and held the place up, getting away with $200? I suppose they want to make a 5 minute line drag out into 10 minutes, aggravating people for her dropping a bill every other minute and filling out paperwork and everything else to keep it below $50. "Thanks for keeping your cool, remembering enough information to capture the crooks and even getting our money back.. You're fired."
  20. Ever wondered where emotionally disturbed and mentally unbalanced people come from? Give you a hint.. Look next door.
  21. Source: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/20002015/ OMG, over $16?!? From the sounds of it, not only was she wrongfully terminated, but also only $50 in the register? Have two people buy only a few dollars worth of stuff and pay with $20 bills, and there'll be a problem with making change. That's stupidity on top of stupidity. These corporation people sound like they want to live in hell after they die. I'm sure they'll be raking in the money when everyone sees what asses they were for firing those employees.
  22. Ok this is actually an old OLD complaint I had against Wendy's... One of the menu items they had was for a double cheeseburger. Guess what? You really got a double burger with cheese. If you wanted a second slap of cheese on it, you had to pay extra. I'm guessing others felt the same way, because now it's called a double-quarter-pounder w/cheese. Heck, anywhere else that I go, a double cheeseburger is the same as having 2 cheeseburgers, just combined together. Talk about being cheap in toppings but not cheap in charging the customer.
