  5. Wolfie I never thought you would be such a square man indeed such a square. How the hell is it against the law exposing a kid to a cuss word WTF ...... I can agree if your talking about exposing the kid to porn but cuss words again GIVE ME A BREAK. Try teaching your kiddies not to walk into a classroom with a gun for starters I think that is way more important than using cuss words. Teach them about safe sex oops here some parents so drop the ball. Teach them not to hate others because they are different due to the color of their skin or sexuality etc.... Teach the kiddies not to steal or hell do drugs. Again parents are so dropping the ball in so many other IMPORTANT ways. Hell man my list just goes on and on ........ Yeah I am a total open minded biotch deal with it. My folks raised all their kids the right way ..... None of us have ever gotten arrested, do drugs etc.... I am proud my folks are not closed minded idiots they have always told us kids just like it is and no we were not 5 cussing up a storm, but we knew the words. Hell I went to catholic school and guess what there on the playground at age 7 I learned the F word yep so I went to my folks and asked what it meant ...... They were honest with me told me at a 7 year old level what the word meant hell when I was 8 I got the whole sex talk. Oh hell man there are so many MORE IMPORTANT THINGS to teach your kiddies out there folks again GIVE ME A BREAK.
  6. ^ OH snap ... I had no clue man. Thanks dude.
  7. OK #1 look it up in the dictionary a butch is a female dog. #2 Many parents out there do not do a great job with their kids at all and this I have seen when I have done my teaching hours for my degree. Some women should blow up before giving birth. #3 if and I never will but lets play the if game ..... My kid (god I almost barfed writing that out) saw a mag and saw the word I would tell him/her exactly what it means. #4 My parents brought me up that way I guess that is why I am so opened minded and this is no big deal. #5 I do not deal well with censorship. #6 I have volunteered again for hours needed for my degree in both Middle and HS and even the teachers there use worse words. I have heard it with my own ears again some of these kids deserve a F you. I eventually plan on teaching HS anyways so I will be able to express myself way differently than with elementary kids. #7 Kids as young as 5 use foul language and news flash they learn it from home the parents, uncles, aunts. etc... not from reading some lame mag at a store GIVE ME A BREAK. #8 I have witnessed this in a kinder class when a boy 5 said the F word to another child. #9 Getting a mag off the shelf like this does NOTHING just adds to all the narrow minded people out there and censorship OK I am So DONE ....... Again we choose to agree to disagree enough said.

  9. Carol City High teacher shot http://www.miamiherald.com/news/breaking_n...ory/297641.html A Miami Carol City Senior High School teacher was shot outside the school Tuesday afternoon, schools officials said. The teacher, who was not immediately identified, was outside the school enjoying their lunch break when two gunmen approached, said John Schuster, a spokesman for the district. After one opened fire, both fled into a nearby apartment building. The second teacher was not hurt. The wounded teacher was airlifted to Jackson Memorial Hospital. His condition was not immediately known. Both Miami Carol City Senior High, 3422 NW 187th St. in Opa-locka, and nearby Carol City Middle School and Carol City Elementary School were on lockdown, Schuster said. Miami-Dade police were investigating. Parents were being urged to stay away from the area. The students were safe, but the gunmen were still being sought in the neighborhood. ***************** This is now all over the news down here the schools are in lock down damn. http://www3.wsvn.com/news/articles/local/MI67210/
  10. Gas prices jump back above $3 a gallon http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20071105/ap_on_bi_ge/oil_prices NEW YORK - Gasoline prices jumped back above $3 a gallon at the pump Monday even as concerns about the economy and increases in crude supplies sent oil prices lower. Retail gas prices have been slow to catch up with soaring crude prices, which have gained nearly 39 percent since late August to a trading high of $96.24 on Thursday. Gas prices only started rising steadily in mid-October. The national average price of a gallon of gas rose 1.5 cents overnight to $3.004, and has jumped almost 25 cents in three weeks, according to AAA and the Oil Price Information Service. The sharp jump in gas prices could continue if oil keeps surging to new heights. "The consumer has been relatively isolated from these prices," said Amanda Kurzendoerfer, commodities analyst at Summit Energy Services Inc. in Louisville, Ky. But, she said, if oil prices don't retreat, gas prices could reach $3.50 or $4 a gallon by next summer. Crude, meanwhile, closed lower after an erratic session that saw prices change direction several times. Foremost on investors minds was the situation at Citigroup Inc., which warned Sunday it would take additional losses of $8 billion to $11 billion due in part to its exposure to risky mortgage debt. The announcement came as Citigroup CEO Charles Prince resigned, and reignited worries that the problems facing the subprime mortgage industry could spread, affecting the broader economy. "Weekend news that another top banking head handed in his resignation due to subprime woes ... is roiling the markets," said Edward Meir, an analyst at MF Global UK Ltd., in a research note. Energy investors worry that a slowdown in the economy would curb demand for oil and petroleum products. Light, sweet crude for December delivery fell $1.95 to settle at $93.98 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange Monday. Earlier Monday, oil futures rose above $96 a barrel after the Institute for Supply Management reported that the economy's services sector grew at a faster-than-expected rate in October. But broader concerns about the mortgage industry's impact on the economy reasserted themselves on equity and energy markets as the day wore on. Other energy futures also fell. The contract for December gasoline fell 5.84 cents to settle at $2.3811 a gallon on the Nymex, while December heating oil fell 2.98 cents to settle at $2.5439 a gallon. December natural gas fell 41.9 cents to settle at $7.999 per 1,000 cubic feet on forecasts for milder temperatures next week in the Midwest and Northeast. In London, December Brent crude fell $1.59 to settle at $90.49 a barrel on the ICE Futures exchange. News on oil supplies and demand contributed to Monday's selling. Iraqi crude exports rose by nearly 200,000 barrels a day in October to 1.84 million barrels a day, according to PVM Oil Associates Ltd. in Vienna. In addition, Russian oil output rose 0.6 percent last month compared to the previous month, marking a new post-Soviet high of 9.93 billion barrels a day, PVM said. A separate survey of analysts by Dow Jones Newswires suggests OPEC raised crude oil production in October by 1.24 percent, or 382,000 barrels from the previous month to 31.23 million barrels. But the International Energy Agency on Monday said global crude oil demand will rise to 98 million barrels a day in 2015 from the 84 million barrels a day now, Dow Jones Newswires reported. Prices were also pressured Monday by an easing in tensions abroad. Kurdish rebels released eight Turkish soldiers Sunday, moderating concerns about whether Turkey will launch attacks on guerrilla bases in northern Iraq. Escalating tensions in the Middle East could disrupt oil supplies out of the region. Analysts think some traders and investors will try to push oil prices to the psychologically important $100 level this week. Crude prices are within the range of inflation-adjusted highs set in early 1980. Depending on the how the adjustment is calculated, $38 a barrel then would be worth $96 to $103 or more today. "I wouldn't see this sell-off today as the start of a correction," Kurzendoerfer said.
